Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars great for elementary school kids   November 11, 2004

I have tried to use several of the popular thesauruses with my 3rd grade writers. This small inexpensive book is by far the best I have seen. It is easy to use, and seems to have all of the words that they want to change for more interesting word choice. The students fight over who gets "the purple books" and they are disappointed when they have to use the big fancy thesauruses. I plan to buy one for each of my students for Christmas, and know they will truly be thrilled with the gift.
