Essential! May 6, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This compilation has been with us for a few years now yet remains essential for anyone wishing to delve into the study of human activity - 'occupation' in the context of the emerging discipline of occupational science that has now been developing since at least 1989. As a doctoral student in this area of study, it is a book I return to again and again to gain clarity and vision when composing papers and attempting to digest the complexity of why and how humans engage in daily life. Don't let the publication date deter you...the papers in this book remain very relevant for the very exciting academic discipline that is taking shape right now! Enjoy...
