Great book! November 13, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Very educational, very easy to do every day, takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Biblically sound, will continue to use for wonderful handwriting skills.

This is a great book for basic handwriting. It is organized so that your child can do it themselves without your help. My kids think it is fun to do too.
motivating curriculum! April 5, 2006 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
My first-grade daughter enjoys this curriculum. Each week focuses on one Scripture verse, most often from Psalms or Proverbs. The student traces then copies a few words on each of the first three days of the week. On the fourth day, the student writes the entire verse on practice paper. The last day of the week, the student gets to choose a special "border sheet" on which they will write the verse and color the pictures. They are encouraged to do their best work and can give the border sheet away. My daughter wakes up on Friday and says, "It's border sheet day!" You can use this curriculum in conjunction with A Reason for Spelling, as the verse for each week is the same. We will be continuing with the next level of this curriculum for second grade.
