colorful book, informative, haven't had the chance to actually try anything yet. Recipes ar great I have tried 2 of the cake recipes from her last book.

I was looking forward to recieve the book but...
I was very dissapointed when I got it.
This book has nothing new,beautiful pictures nice lay out but helpful or new no not at all.
I think everything has been said or done in cakedecorating ...

I love Elisa's design aesthetic, but was disappointed to see that a large portion of this book is dedicated to cookies, cupcakes and minicakes. There are only 6 cake projects in the book.

Terrific! Inspiring! How does she do that!!!! Another beautiful book by a beautiful young lady. Elisa Strauss has done it again. To think that everything is edible. Elisa's creations are truly "works of art" and delicios as well. I speak from experience.
A Must Have for any Baker's library!!! November 20, 2008
Elisa Strauss' book has wonderful recipes, awesome photos and great "hot tips". Her cake and cookie recipes all taste great and her designs are clean, crisp and original. It is a great second book for her (her first book Confetti Cakes was a wonderful book too!) and I highly recommend it - even if you don't want to decorate a cake or cookie, her recipes are worth the purchase. If I could only keep two books in my baking library, they would be Ms. Strauss' books. I hope she comes out with a holiday book!
