A Must-Have Book August 16, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've made many a dish using Easy Livin'Microwave Cooking and it is a real "gem". I usually prepare meals for two, but many times make the full 4 serving recipe. My wife and I are both trying to loose weight and the ability to make great-tasting, quick meals has been a real bonus. I hasten to add, we are loosing that weight! This book is a must for any home that has a microwave oven!

Good book, but needs to be updated November 9, 1999 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
This book is a wealth of information, but it desperately needs an update. It was published nearly 15 years ago, when the most powerful microwave was 700 watts. Now with 1000, 1100, and even 1200 watt microwaves being the norm, her recipes all need to be adjusted and updated. Also, there are a whole slew of new utensils - like browning dishes - that could be addressed.
The only microwave cookbooks you need. November 4, 1998 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Not only is this a very readable and informative cookbook but Karen Dwyer really knows what she is talking about! I find hers to be the only cookbooks i need to both learn and keep learning about microwave cookery. Thanks Karen.
