Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Book!   September 2, 2008
This is one of the best piano books around. Within a couple of days I was playing some really rich and accurate songs. If your tired of lame interpretations of a songs melody line, this book is for you. It is an accurate translation of his songs. Great stuff!

5 out of 5 stars A Winner!   May 15, 2007

We purchased this as a gift for my daughter's 18th birthday. She has played the piano for 10 years and this gift was a winner! All of Barry's classics are found here and are challenging to play. My daughter is taking music theory and enjoys "discovering" Barry's unique craftsmanship at the keyboard. This book will not disappoint.

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful Music !!!   January 29, 2007

I've played the songs of Barry on my piano for many years, and it's given me so much pleasure. This anthology, which includes songs I've never played before, is really brilliant! I think this is a must for every fan who plays the piano or guitar. The arrangements are very good.
Buy it today and you'll have beautiful music to play on your instrument throughout your life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!

4 out of 5 stars "I told my wife"..............   March 9, 2006

I was left a stack of old records and found many Barry Manilow's recordings. I started to listen to his songs and appreciated the way he composed. I jokingly told my wife I was turning soft and becoming "gay" because I was appreciating Barry Manilow's tunes. While they are produced in a sugar coated innocent pop way they are expertly written and this book is a good primer of Barry Manilow's style. If you want to play his tunes they are all here. He is underrated as a song writer.
