5 out of 5 stars Win Win   September 11, 2008
I can safely say this set of tapes saved my children's lives...and my sanity. Wonderful, practical advice and my children grew up to be adults that I am proud of as a parent, and enjoy spending time with as a friend. It taught me a great deal about creative problem solving...and works on husbands as well. I'm on Amazon to purchase another set for a mom who will benefit from this same approach. 5 stars from me

I love this tape! I've had it for a few years and have lent it to every mom I know. I listen to it periodically when I need a refresher of Barbara's practical advice for dealing with many of the day-to-day parenting challenges. I highly recommend it for any parent.

I discovered this Audio Tape when my son was 4. I credit it with providing me with the parenting and communication skills to help him become the confident, independent, communicative and resourseful 16 year old he is today. I would recommend this tape and the book "Kids are Worth It" by the same author to every parent.

The tapes are very enjoyable. The information is so simple yet absolutely true that you find her examples hilarious. The tapes provided me with perspective on rasing my daughters to think for themselves and problem solve. I have used her "convince me" suggestions endlessly. I highly recommend the book and have suggested it to several friends.
