5 out of 5 stars My Confusion is Gone   January 3, 2009
I have been wanting to go to nursing school for years. I have a bachelor's degree in another field and have felt overwhelmed by the plethora of information available for pursuing an RN. This book was a Godsend and very easy to read! Dr. Atkins explained every question I had so that I could easily navigate the different colleges and all of my options. This book is a must have for anyone interested in pursuing a nursing degree, applying to a nursing school and/or already enrolled in nursing school. I am thrilled I came across this book.

5 out of 5 stars A Must-Have!   December 28, 2008
If you're currently in a nursing program, considering the field of nursing, or just plain interested in the world of nursing this is the book for you! Dr. Atkins gives a wonderful road-map for nursing students of all ages with helpful tips, advices, and strategies from writing care plans to clinical preparation to time management in school.

As a third year nursing student I'm very anxious about starting clinicals- especially the med/surg rotation. Reading this book has helped alleviate many of my concerns and clarify many myths surrounding the nursing career. I highly recommend this well-written guide for anyone who's interested in 'getting the most from nursing school.' :)
