| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This pocket-sized primer lays out a slew of recommended daily itineraries, including the best sights, the best hikes and then the best places to hit after a day on the trail or the river. The guide provides tips on what to see and how to do it best, with thorough lists Kimball has collected over the decades of intimate contact with this national treasure. The Lajitas Sun called it ''a practical, compact, generally well-written and entertaining package of advice. And it s one of the best guides on the market. There's a powerful amount of information packed into its 104 pages.''

Pages all over the place.....?!? November 26, 2008 This little book was going along just fine until - the pages were completely out of sequence! Made about 2/3 of the book completely unusable.
Excellent back-pocket guide to Big Bend September 16, 2008 All the first-time, or returning, visitor needs to find the best trails and sites at Big Bend National Park. Also included are tips for visits to nearby Terlingua, Lajitas, Fort Davis and Marfa. I had the original version and the new, updated one has a much handier format. Very user friendly and, at $5.95, it's a real bargain.
